A Medina, Minn lundi le 2 courrant, la mort moissonnait l'un de nos plus estimés et l'un des plus anciens citoyens de cet Etat, dans la personne de M. David Pomerleau, riche cultivateur. Il est mort de la pneumonie, causée par la grippe.
M. Pomerleau émigra à Medina il y a près de 35 ans, et était connu et admireé par sa probité son amour du travail et sa générosité pour les oeuvres religieuses. Il était l'oncle de notre estimé compatriote M. David Pomerleau et de Mme Lawrence Tuscany, de cette ville.
Les funérailles ont eu lieu dans l'Eglise de Medina. Le Rev. Pére Lauzon, curé de cette paroisse a chanté le service, et l'oraison funèbre que prononça le prédicateur éloquent, causa une bien profonde impression sur l'auditoire
M. Pomerleau laisse une épouse et 7 enfants, a qui il a légué une jolie somme d'argent et des biens immeubles.

In Medina, Minnesota on Monday, the second day of the current month, death reaped one of our most respected and one of the oldest citizens of that State, in the person of Mr. David Pomerleau, rich farmer. He died of pneumonia caused by influenza.
Mr. Pomerleau emigrated to Medina back nearly 35 years, and was known and admired by his honesty his love of work and generosity for religious works. He was the uncle of our esteemed compatriot David Pomerleau and Mrs. Lawrence Tuscany, of this city.
The funeral was held in the Church of Medina. The Rev. Father Lauzon, parish priest sang the service, and the funeral oration pronounced by the eloquent preacher, caused a very deep impression on the audience.
Mr. Pomerleau leaves a wife and seven children, whom he bequeathed a handsome sum of money and property. We extend to the bereaved family our sincere condolences.

Le 11 courant à St-Joseph de la Beauce, P.Q., Canada, M. George Vachon dit Pomerleau, à l'age de 72 ans.
M. Pomerleau était le père de M. George Pomerleau, de Minneapolis, le frére de M. David Pomerleau, de Medina, Minn. et le beau-père de M. Napoléon Emond, marchand et de M Aimé Provost, officier de police de cette ville.
Le défunt, M. Geo. Pomerleau, est un des plus anciens pionniers de cet Etat. Il émigra au Minnesota en 1854 et il y demeura jusqu'en 1882, époque à laquelle il retourna au Canada.
C'était un honnêts homme et jouissait de l'estime de ses concitoyens.

On the 11th day of the current month, in St. Joseph Beauce, Province of Quebec, Canada, George Vachon dit Pomerleau, died at the age of 72 years.
Mr. Pomerleau was the father of George M. Pomerleau, of Minneapolis, brother of David Pomerleau, of Medina, Minn.. and stepfather Napoleon M. Emond, merchant and Provost M Aime, a police officer of this city.
The late Mr. Geo. Pomerleau, is one of the earliest pioneers of that State. He emigrated to Minnesota in 1854 and remained there until 1882, when he returned to Canada.
He was an honest man and enjoyed the esteem of his fellow citizens. Our condolences to the family.

Zoe Pomerleau obituary in Echo de L'Quest
Décédée samedi dernier, à l'âge de 78 ans, Mme Zoé Pomerleau, ancienne résidente de Hamel, Minn. Elle vint de Sherbrooke, P.Q., à Hamel, il y a 48 ans, et se maria en 1861 avec M. Augustin Pomerleau. Neuf enfants, dont Mmes Delphine Tuscany, Ed Landry, William Deslauriers et Joseph et John Pomerleau, de Minneapolis; Mme Tom Huard, de Medicine Lake; Mme Sam Caudglow, de Clarisholm, Canada; Mme Zoé Colette, de Grafton, N.D., et Alfred Pomerleau, de Whitcomed, Mont., lui survivent. Elle a encore une soeur qui demeure actuellement à Sherbrooke, Canada. Son époux l'a précédée dans la tombe il y a 23 ans.
Ses funérailles ont eu lieu mardi matin, en l'église de Hamel

Died last Saturday at the age of 78 years, Ms. Zoe Pomerleau, a former resident of Hamel, Minn. She came from Sherbrooke, Province of Quebec, to Hamel, 48 years ago, and in 1861 married Mr. Augustin Pomerleau. Nine children, Mrs. Delphine Tuscany, Ed Landry, William and Joseph Deslauriers and John Pomerleau, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Tom Huard, Medicine Lake, Ms. Sam Caudglow of Clarisholm, Canada, Ms. Colette Zoe, of Grafton, ND, and Alfred Pomerleau, of Whitcomed, Mont., survive her. She still has a sister who currently resides in Sherbrooke, Canada. Her husband had predeceased 23 years ago.
Her funeral was held Tuesday morning at the Church of Hamel.

Services for Maxim J. Pomerleau, a Plymouth resident, were held Monday, April 19, at St. Austin's church after his death on April 15th at the age of 86. Burial was at St Anne's cemetery, Hamel. Arrangements were by Gearty-Davis Funeral chapel, Robbinsdale. Born in Plymouth, Mr. Pomerleau was a farmer in the area all his life. He is survived by four sons, Elmer, Gilbert, Ralph, and Wallace, two step-sons, Bernard and Raymond Donahue, a sister, Mrs. Elise Kurke, 21 grandchildren and eight (sic) grandchildren
