(refers to son of Georges)

Mary Scott was the daughter of Joseph Scott. They resided in Corcoran Township, Hennepin County. On the 1873 plat map of Corcoran, a Joseph Scott is shown as owning land in section 29. Interesting, directly to the southeast in the same section, one George D. Pomerleau is also shown as owning land. Perhaps this is the connection between Bartholomew Pomerleau and Mary Scott
Bartholomew Pomerleau (1857-1947) had 3 wives. The first wife, Mary Scott, died at the age of 27. Bartholomew's second wife was a Mary Guimont; it appears that someone named Paul is connected to this marriage, but how is unknown. Bartholomew's third wife's maiden name was Peletier, but her first name is unknown.
In a conversation with Gilbert Pomerleau (1912-2006) in September 2000, Gilbert stated that his grandfather, Bartholomew Pomerleau, (1857-1947) had 3 children. With Mary Scott they had a son named Maxim. Later a daughter Mary and son Eugene were born but the pedigree has not been determined.
